Directions from Austin: Take 290 West to I-10. Take I-10 West to exit #248 (228 miles). At Exit #248 go towards U.S. 67 South/FM 1776 to Alpine, Texas. Turn left on FM 1776 (becomes U.S. 67) to Alpine (55 miles). U.S. 67 becomes East Avenue E, continue west through Alpine (East Avenue E becomes West Avenue E). At the edge of town Avenue E becomes U.S. 90, continue 25 miles to Marfa. At the intersection of U.S. 90 and 67 in Marfa, make a left on U.S. 67/ South Highland Street. Travel approx. 1 mile to El Cosmico (on right past West Madrid Street).
