Adult Mom began as the solo project of Stephanie Knipe in a Purchase College dorm room in 2012. Adult Mom now falls between the playful spectrum of solo project and collaborative band with beloved friends and musicians Olivia Battell, Mike Dvorscak, and Bruce Hamilton. Through reflections and explorations of the personal and hidden, the crux of the writing produced by Knipe is focused on excavation. The dredging out of secrets, putting it all in a pan, and waiting for the gold to rise. Honesty and intimacy form as Knipe writes clever pop songs that offer a glimpse into the journey of a gender-weird queer navigating through heartache, trauma, and subsequent growth.

Opening for Adult Mom on June 8, Free Cake For Every Creature is a pop band currently based in Philadelphia. Beginning as the secret home-recording project of songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Katie Bennett, the band has since expanded to include a rotating cast of colorful friends and musicians.  Inspired by the DIY ethos of bands like Beat Happening and Rose Melberg, Katie & the cakes have self-booked numerous tours across America, taking pictures and posting online journal entries of their explorations along the way.

Siamese is the glam rock band of four theatrically inclined friends from Dallas, Texas. Mixing ominous art pop with opulent set design and deranged alter egos, we've been told their live show makes you feel like you could invent a new color or wear a leotard to the office.

Little Strike is the alias of Israeli musician Tamar Dart, based currently in Philadelphia. Self described as a World Electronic Folk musician, the project feels like a collage, with guitars that conjure West African finger-styles, atop a bed of grimy beats. The vocals encourage the listener to go on a nostalgic walkabout around the world, with lyrics in Spanish, Hebrew, French & Wolof. Live shows include video projections and a variety of different guest musicians, including bass, trumpet, and percussion. Dart will release her second EP in the summer of 2017.

Coastlands is an instrumental rock quartet from Portland, Oregon. Inspired by space and nature, Coastlands creates unmatched soundscapes that one can quickly fall victim to, much like the trance of a beloved, nebulous melancholy. Capturing the aesthetics of hope void of expectations and the sorrows that accompany compassion, their songs create a cocoon of solace and reprieve.
