Live On The Land
Bring your gear and camp under the big sky. We really want you to spend all three days with us, so this year we are only offering 3-day passes for the festival during pre-registration. Prices go up at the gate and limited tickets will be available, so don't delay - get your tickets to adventure now and tell your boss you need the day off.
All tickets are sold per person, not per tent, and each concertgoer and camper must purchase a ticket.
Unfurnished Scout Tents
Don’t want to set up camp? Rent one of our standard or deluxe scout tents for the weekend and save yourself the hassle of puzzling tent pole architecture. We set up a wall tent - so tall you can stand up inside - you show up with your bedding and necessities and move right in. Cost for all 3 nights is $125 for a standard (sleeps 2) or $175 for a deluxe (sleeps 4) unit with purchase of music + camping passes. These accommodations are limited – contact us to reserve yours.
Shelter Co. Deluxe Furnished Tents
Shelter Co. and El Cosmico are teaming up to provide furnished canvas tents and all necessary amenities at this years Trans-Pecos Festival.
Each canvas tent comes with the following:
200 square feet of space
Screen door and windows
1 or 2 full size beds (additional $50 per night for extra bed)
Down comforters and pillows
500 thread count sheets
Side tables with lanterns
Leather lounge chairs
Cost per night is $175 with a 3 night minimum and $50 a night for any addtional beds. Guests renting a Shelter Co. tent must also purchase Music Only tickets for the festival.
Shelter Co. is a California-based pop up lodging service catering to groups looking for an overnight outdoor experience. Check them out here.
If you want to bring a trailer or RV, please get in touch to tell us about your machine so we can reserve a space for you in our RV village. The cost to bring an RV is $125 in addition to the purchase of music passes for everyone in the RV. We have limited space and do not offer hookups onsite, but we're happy to host you in your portable home during the festival.
Activities will abound at this year’s party. Make something, root for your team, buy a souvenir for a friend.
Here are a few highlights – more to come as party time nears:
WORKSHOPS: Learn a new talent at one of the many workshops available during the festival. See the list and sign up here - check back often as new workshops are being added.
EL BEISBOL SANDLOT: Austin’s Texas Playboys vs. Marfa’s Los Yonke Gallos. An epic sandlot baseball rivalry continues. Saturday at noon. Hot dogs. Beer. Squirrel Friends. Can only be experienced - definitely a party highlight regardless of your stance on sports.
EL COSMETICO: Back by popular demand. Just because you are camping doesn’t mean you don’t need a massage. Schedule services onsite at the festival.
AND MORE: Shop our vendor area, hang out and listen to an afternoon DJ, or just spend some time in our hammock grove. We've got a solid mix of activities and opportunities to do absolutely nothing.
Join us for Barbacoa Cosmicoa, a pig roast and community dinner on Saturday night starting at 5 pm. Chef Lou Lambert will roast several pigs onsite and we'll enjoy the feast with all the fixin's and a host of sides. A vegetarian option with vegan tamale pie is also available.
A limited number of meals will be available for purchase onsite, so be sure to sign up for Barbacoa Cosmicoa when you purchase your festival tickets to guarantee your seat at the meal.
Food vendors will be onsite on Thursday and Friday nights, and some breakfast options will be available each day. We will also have an area set up with a few communal grills if you'd prefer to bring your own foodstuffs. You supply the charcoal.
We’re also bringing back the Marfa Public Radio charity brunch on Sunday. This may be the most enjoyable way to support a good cause. Feed your hangover with some pancakes, sausages, live music and good friends before heading home. Pay cash at the breakfast and support KRTS.
No outside alcohol is allowed at El Cosmico. We will have plenty of beer, wine and other beverages for sale throughout the event. And of course we'll have plenty of free Topo Chico to quench your high plains desert thirst.
