If you are self-camping, you will need to provide all your own bedding and other supplies. It can get cold at night - pack accordingly.
Shelter Co. renters: towels are not provided, please bring one if you intend to shower.
A flashlight or headlamp is essential.
We suggest boots/durable shoes, a warm jacket for cold nights, rain provisions, and festive attire. Be sure to shake your boots out before you put them on in the morning, it's just a good field habit.
Your well behaved dog friend is welcome - please tend to their poop.
Be aware of law enforcement and obey all laws.
No outside alcohol, beer or wine is allowed at the festival - we'll have plenty on hand.
High heels and other forms of perilous attire are not advised.
Do not build fires anywhere at El Cosmico and please mind your cigarette butts.
If you have not reserved space for an RV or camper in advance, please leave it at home. We do not have any more space available for RVs. No unauthorized vehicles are allowed on the El Cosmico grounds at any time.
No bad vibes. It takes a village to have a good time. Tread lightly and make friends.
All tickets are non-refundable and available at will call only – no tickets will be mailed. Please print or save your confirmation email for your records and bring it with you to the festival. We have added you to our party email group – please be on the lookout for important communiqués about the event as it nears.
Food in Marfa can be limited.
Don't miss Barbacoa Cosmicoa - our community dinner on Saturday. Chef Lou Lambert and his grill crew will be roasting pigs and serving up a proper meal with all the sides - a vegetarian option is also available.
Charity Breakfast on Sunday morning as we wind down the weekend. With live music No need to pre-register, just show up anytime from 9 am to noon and join in. Proceeds benefit the good work of Marfa Public Radio.
Additional food will be available throughout the weekend at the Jo's Coffee tent and at Frank, outposts onsite. Paletas by Cold Ones. Some community grills will be set up - you bring the charcoal.
