Trans-Pecos Festival of Music + Love 2020: A Microdose

Travel through frequencies outside of the norm and come together in spirit for the 15th Annual Trans-Pecos Festival of Music + Love.

We wish you were here. We wish we were meeting in the high deserts of west Texas for what would have been the 15th annual Trans-Pecos Festival of Music + Love. In its honor and in acknowledgment of the heartbreak that is 2020, we present to you a very special and limited edition Trans-Pecos Festival collection.

Get to the festival in your mind with one of two retail collections – the Ticket to Ride and the Golden Ticket. Get these goods and feel good about making a donation to Angry Tias and Abuelas– doing the good work at the Texas border. And because we all need something to look forward to – purchase one of these, and you’ll get a chance to win tickets to the 2021 Trans-Pecos Festival. We’re giving away 10 pairs of tickets, and one lucky winner will receive the Golden Ticket that includes on-site accommodations in a trailer during next year’s gathering. Find the official sweepstakes rules here.

A Poem by Lucille Clifton

Let there be a new flowering
In the fields let the fields
Turn mellow for the men
Let the men keep tender
Through the time let the time
Be wrested from the war
Let the war be won
Let love be
At the end

This poem has been painted on the grounds of El Cosmico since 2005 and holds a special place in our hearts – especially now.
