2021 Trans-Pecos Festival Poster

The 2021 flying saucer art for El Cosmico’s Trans-Pecos Festival was inspired by the recent archive of UFO sightings declassified by the U.S. government. If we were invaded by aliens tomorrow, we’re not sure we’d be surprised after the year and a half we’ve had. Onwards, upwards, and into the cosmos.

Pre-order your 2021 Trans-Pecos Festival poster before heading to Marfa. All online poster orders will be shipped out in October, 2021. Line-up will be included on each 19 x 25”, 5 color silkscreen poster.

$50 poster | $125 special edition poster

Get busy.

Activities will abound at this year’s party. Make something, try something or create something for a friend.

Learn a new talent at one of the many workshops available during the festival.

Mechanical Bull Riding

Are you brave enough to ride the bull?

Saddle up, take a turn on our electronic bucking bronco and unleash your inner cowpoke. This is our first rodeo at Trans-Pecos, but we have a feeling you can get the hang of it.

Your skills will be rewarded with a commemorative t-shirt—even if you don’t last 8 seconds.

Riders will be asked to sign a waiver before hopping on.

Roy Pope Grocery's High Desert Picnic

Presented by Igloo Coolers

Pick up the perfect picnic.

Snag a cooler full of everything you need at the Trans-Pecos Festival for the ideal al fresco desert spread. Provisions will include: pimento cheese, snacks, sandwich supplies, sundries, as well as Calidad Beer and Topo Chico. The best part is you get to keep the Igloo cooler. All you have to do is watch out for ants.

Available in two sizes Big Sky (a 70 quart cooler) or the Little Guy (24 quart).

Available at the answers booth during the festival.
Pre-orders now closed.

View the menu here.

What kind of tickets should I buy?

All four day tickets include self-camping this year. If you purchase a four day ticket and want to camp on site make sure to bring your own tent, bedding and any other necessities. Every person in the tent needs a ticket to the festival. Bathrooms and showers are communal.

Single day tickets are music only and do not include camping. Only four day festival tickets include camping this year. Single day camping tickets will not be sold this year.

If you are staying elsewhere in Marfa, you still need a Music Only ticket.

If I decided to buy a Shelter Co. Tent, Trailer, tepee or Safari Tent do I need to buy tickets to the festival?

Yes, you will need to purchase Music Only tickets for everyone sleeping in the accommodation.

Where are my tickets?

No tickets will be mailed. You will receive the tickets in an email confirmation from Event Brite. Tickets are attached as a PDF you can print or we can scan them from the Event Brite app. Please print your confirmation email for your records and bring with you to the festival.

What can I get on site day of?

Day of tickets are not guaranteed and dependent on capacity.

How do I change the name on my tickets?

Tickets are non-refundable, but we are happy to transfer your tickets to someone else’s name if you cannot attend. Login to your account, select “Tickets” and then select “Transfer.” Read this article for formal instructions.

All ticket transfers need to be completed by September 17.
